As an interpretation choice, this seemed odd contrasted with some of the more refined secondary characters, such as Scott Coopwood's Henry Straker and Gray Eubank's Hector Malone Sr. Such lack of consistency clouds the content, which can be evasive at times, even at its best. But unlike the central confusion of the piece, this show's uncertainty and dawdling doesn't make anything seem overly attractive.
